Every participant should send your flight schedule
to ict13@foxmail.com, and we will arrange the shuttle buses to pick
you up on time.

No matter that your abstract is selected as oral presentation or
poster exhibition, you can make it a poster. We have reserved
position for each abstract.
If you have dietetic taboo, please inform us, you
can send it by e-mail.

We are notified by financial department of
University that our POS terminals could recognize visa card and
master card. So if your card issuer is not visa or master, please
pay for all the fees with cash. Of course you can
remit your fees into or transfer cash into the Bank Account of ICT13
Organizing Committe, but we encourage cash payment.

The Beijing tour should be paid in cash at the
registration center. The tour reservation is available now! If you
want to enjoy the fantastic trip, please tell us as soon as
possible.

Every participant should ask the bank which your
credit card belong to whether the card could be used in Changchun
and Beijing. If it can't be used in Changchun, you should pay all
the fees in cash or
remit your fees into or transfer cash into the Bank Account of ICT13
Organizing Committe. As a matter of convenience, we encourage
that you can exchange USD or EUR for CNY at airport or bank.

For security reasons,
Local Organizing Committee won't collect the registration fees and
hotel fees with credit card before 7.31, so you should remit your
registration fee into or transfer cash into the Bank Account of
ICT13 Organizing Committe(Click
for more details) or pay for the fees when you arrive at
Changchun with cash or creadit card. The copy of the bank transfer
document must be sent to us by fax or email(contact
us).
Room Reservation is
still avaliable for New Jiliang International Hotel and New Century
Grand Hotel. The attendees who didn't submit the Room Reservation
Form should send it to ict13@foxmail.com
as soon as possible.

The 13th International
Conference on Trichinellosis(ICT13) will be held in Changchun, China
on Monday, 1st August and ending on Saturday, August 6th
2011. Opening ceremony and opening lectures will be held at New
Century Grand Hotel. Sessions, wet labs and workshops will be held
in the conference room of the hotel.
Who should attend?
The meeting aims at
attracting biologists, veterinarians, physicians and others working
within the field of Trichinella and trichinellosis on the
biology, epidemiology, control & prevention, diagnostics, treatment
of disease.

Abstracts
Abstracts should be written in English. The abstract
should be clear, descriptive and not longer than 400 words.
Submission of an article is
understood to imply that the article is original and is not being
considered for publication elsewhere. Submission also implies that
all authors have approved the paper for release and are in agreement
with its content.
Please select whether
your abstract is for an Oral Presentation or a Poster Presentation
when you submit your abstract before the deadline for submission of
abstracts--April 30th, 2011.
GUIDELINES FOR PRESENTATION AT ICT13
Poster Presentation
The ideal poster size is
100 cm (height) x 80 cm (width). The poster should not exceed
mentioned size and should be well illustrated, clean and easy to
read.
The poster should cover the KEY POINTS of the research work, and be
able to (1) attract attention; (2) provide a brief overview of your
work; and (3) initiate discussion and questions.
The title of your poster should appear at the top in CAPITAL letters
about 1 inch or 25mm high. Below the title, put the author(s)'
name(s) and affiliation(s).
The smallest text on your poster should be at least 3/8 inches or
9mm high, and the important points should be in a larger font size.
It should to be well prepared. Make sure to bring all necessary
materials you may need to repair the poster after travelling, such
as transparent adhesive tape and an extra set of your poster papers.
Make your poster presentation easy to read. Use color for
highlighting and to make your poster more attractive. Use pictures,
diagrams, cartoons, figures, etc., rather than only text wherever
possible.
Make your poster as self-explanatory as possible. This will save
your time to use for discussions and questions.
Oral presentation
- Oral presentation should not exceed 10 minutes.
- Your presentation must be made using Microsoft
PowerPoint.
- The recommended formats for presentations are
Microsoft PowerPoint 2003, Microsoft PowerPoint 2007, or Microsoft
PowerPoint 2010.
